Position: Manufacturing Technician I

Job Description:
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Component Assembly:
- Assemble components using UV cured epoxy for optical manufacturing.
Work Order Processing:
- Responsible for processing work orders related to optical component production.
Safety Compliance:
- Follow Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Quality Standards:
- Adhere to ISO9000 requirements including ESD protocols work area cleanliness equipment maintenance and following work instructions.
Team Participation:
- Attend daily standup meetings to communicate progress and challenges with the team.
Process Improvement:
- Participate in improvement initiatives such as Kaizen 5S and Practical Process Improvement.
Workplace Safety:
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by following established 5S procedures.
Experience Requirements:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- No prior experience needed; training will be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Must possess a strong attention to detail to ensure quality assembly.
Computer Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge is essential for processing work orders and documentation.
Manual Dexterity:
- Ability to work with small parts under a microscope using tweezers and other small tools.
