Our Data Teamis growing and we are looking fornew talent to join us on our journey!
As a Data Engineer you will work closely with the Data team stakeholders and the Finance team to design develop and maintain a highquality database solution that supports reporting analysis and data solutions. They will play a key role in investigating and resolving issues related to crypto/fiat transaction reconciliation ensuring the accuracy of reports used by the finance team and supporting the integration of new cryptocurrencies into the system. API integration experience is a plus.

Your daily tasks will be
- Integrate new data sources into the data warehouse environment with the support of the BI team.
- Assist in the design build and maintenance of data warehouse schemas.
- Develop and maintain ETL procedures for data ingestion from various platforms and external sources.
- Use existing BI toolsets to build and maintain Business Intelligence Services.
- Collaborate with the Platform team to understand platform architecture and functionality to facilitate downstream data consumption.
- Support in the implementation of a fullstack data solution from raw data to accessible datasets.
- Collaborate on best practices for data design and implementation.
- Ensure ETL processes and BI services have proper audit and reconciliation safeguards.
- Guarantee the accuracy and consistency of all datasets within the DWH.
- Work with the finance team to support crypto/fiat transaction reconciliation by investigating reported issuesboth real and false alarmsand providing necessary fixes or solutions.
- Support reconciliation efforts whenever new cryptocurrencies are integrated into the platform.
- Partner in technical developments and optimization of the data warehouse for low latency and high data efficiency.
What we expect from you
- A nature of challenging the status quo to improve processes.
- 3 years of experience working in a data warehouse technical environment.
- Strong knowledge of ETL tools and processes with a solid understanding of data warehouse architecture.
- Experience with endtoend data warehouse implementations.
- Proficiency in working with MongoDB or a similar database system.
- Experience in industries like online gaming ecommerce or crypto/blockchain knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (e.g. Redshift Firehose) and other data services.
- API integration experience is a plus.
- Scripting skills in Node.js or Python would be a plus.
- Experience collaborating with finance teams to support transaction reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
- Ability to support reconciliation when new cryptocurrencies are integrated into the system.
- Strong work ethic a proactive approach and excellent problemsolving skills.
- Ability to be pragmatic and flexible in tackling challenges while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
