Job Description

Evac Group is the global leader in providing sustainable water and waste management solutions for the marine offshore and building industries. We are looking for a dynamic Procurement Project Leader to join our team and lead the procurement activities for our key projects.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Procurement Project Leader you will be responsible for planning executing and controlling all procurement aspects of assigned projects. You will ensure supplier capability material availability and ontime delivery (OTD) while collaborating closely with project management sourcing and other internal stakeholders. You will also manage the daily performance of suppliers to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Supply Chain & Sourcing Lead: Serve as the main point of contact for supply chain and sourcing issues within a project representing these functions and ensuring sourcing capabilities align with project requirements.
  • Supplier Management: Act as the single point of contact for suppliers within a project ensuring smooth communication and collaboration to meet project goals.
  • Procurement Project Plan: Create maintain and execute a comprehensive procurement project plan covering scope objectives schedules roles supplier risks and material costs.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Oversee supplier ontime delivery material availability and overall performance mitigating risks and ensuring project success.
  • Order & Delivery Process Management: Manage the endtoend purchase order process ensuring all parties are informed and material flow is uninterrupted.
  • Supplier Risk Mitigation: Identify manage and mitigate supplier risks providing timely updates to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project management sourcing and R&D teams to address supply chain and procurement needs.

Key Competencies:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelors degree in business engineering or a related supply chain field.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in supply chain management project management (IPMAD preferred) and collaboration with R&D.
  • Project Purchasing Expertise: A proven track record of excellence in project purchasing supplier management and project delivery performance.
  • ProblemSolving & Lean Skills: Strong problemsolving skills with an understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English with excellent interpersonal skills to manage supplier relationships and internal communications. French and German speak would be advantageous
