Job Description
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse assists the physician performing a surgical procedure by establishing and maintaining a sterile field in the operating room setting up equipment scrubbing in handing instruments and supplies to surgeon. Assists the surgical team by preparing patient for transport out of the operating room and cleaning the operating room.
Requirement description :
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : National certification as a Surgical Technician required
Weekend Requirements : Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
On Call Requirements : Possible
Requirement description :
- 2 years of recent (within 5 years) acute hospital CST experience REQUIRED
CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
- BLS (AHA)
ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : National certification as a Surgical Technician required
Weekend Requirements : Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
On Call Requirements : Possible
