Location: 100% REMOTE (must work 95 EST)

Day to Day |
- Monitoring Systems: Regularly monitor cloud infrastructure for performance availability and security issues leveraging tools like Splunk for log analysis.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support to resolve incidents and issues reported by users or automated systems.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications particularly in microservices architectures.
- Implement Best Practices: Assist in implementing AWS best practices for security compliance and cost management.
- Participate in CI/CD Processes: Assist in managing the CI/CD pipeline using GitLab ensuring seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Container Management: Help manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Infrastructure Buildout: Contribute to infrastructure buildout projects assisting in the design and deployment of scalable cloud resources.
- Engage in Training: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in AWS and cloud technologies.
- Contribute to Projects: Participate in projects related to cloud migrations deployments and enhancements particularly in microservicesoriented projects.
Must Haves |
- Basic Understanding of AWS Services: Familiarity with core AWS services such as EC2 S3 RDS and IAM.
- Cloud Concepts: Understanding of cloud computing concepts including scalability elasticity and high availability.
- Networking Knowledge: Basic knowledge of networking concepts like VPC subnets security groups and routing.
- Operating Systems: Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems including commandline interface skills.
- Scripting Skills: Experience with scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell to automate tasks and manage infrastructure.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot issues and find solutions quickly and effectively.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
