Job Description
Job Title: Design Engineer
- Location: LexingtonMA (Onsite 2 days/week)
- Job Type: W2 Contract
Background/Need:
The Group requires a Senior level PCB Designer with strong electronics printed circuit board design library creation and documentation experience.
Responsibilities:
The candidate must have excellent time management and communication skills and exemplary team skills as these responsibilities will be accomplished directly or through in uence of other organizations such as engineering and design. Will need to be able to take the designs from initial schematic thru nal manufacturing output so a knowledge of the PCB Fabrication and Assembly process is important.
Prior experience in aerospace and/or national laboratory environment is needed.
Expert experience with the latest Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Expedition versions along with experience with the Altium CAD software are required skills.
Also important to be a selfstarter and have the ability to multitask.
Quali cations (Security Clearance Level etc) & Place of Performance:
Strong PCB design skills
Current experience with the Mentor Graphics DxDesigner and Expedition software (including CES) along with experience with the Altium CAD software are required skills.
Also need to be experienced with Draftsight for drawing creation.
Knowledge of the VALOR software for DFM is a plus.
Must Have:
Experience w/High Speed MultiLayer Digital Analog RF Flex Controlled Impedance Di . Pairs or Mixed Signal (BGAs CCGAs MicroVias Buried Resistors).
A complete understanding of the library creation and management process is required.
Experience in the generation of all Fabrication and Assembly output data (ODB and /or Gerbers) Fab Drawings (including panel drawings) Assembly Drawings Pick and Place data etc.).
Education & Experience: 15 Years of relevant work experience.
Work Authorization: US Citizensh with Active Secret Clearance is required due to the nature of the work.
