Position: Sales Manager First Source

Job Summary:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales strategies and managing customer relationships with a primary focus on First Source II contracts with DHS. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in navigating government procurement processes to expand our presence and secure new opportunities within the DHS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets related to First Source II contracts.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within DHS ensuring effective communication and alignment with contract requirements.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the DHS sector leveraging First Source II contract mechanisms.
- Proposal Management: Oversee the preparation and submission of proposals for DHS contracts ensuring compliance with First Source II guidelines and requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for contract terms pricing and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes while adhering to DHS standards.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and changes within the DHS procurement landscape to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Reporting: Track and report on sales performance contract status and client feedback to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience working with First Source II contracts with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
- Sales Expertise: Strong background in sales management with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and manage largescale contracts.
- Government Procurement Knowledge: Deep understanding of government procurement processes specifically related to DHS and First Source II.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with government officials and internal teams.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable contract terms.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and data to inform strategic decisions.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP PMP) are a plus.
