Job Description
Must Have
- Bachelors degree in accounting/finance required. A minimum of 13 years of relevant experience in accounting for a large company
Update: Also these positions are going to most likely be remote now with possible travel to NYC for some training.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will be focused various account reconciliations required on a year to date basis in preparation for audit
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compile and analyze financial data for various P&L and Balance Sheet accounts
- Identify variances and required correcting entries
- Utilize various data sources to track transactions
- Become familiar with GL accounting structure and impacted accounts for reconciliations
- Work with internal finance teams to understand the coding and impact of certain transactions
- Report findings and required entries to finance management team
REQUIREMENTS:
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- Ability to independently organize prioritize and manage multiple tasks and reach conclusions for recommendations.
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a highquality product.
- Detail oriented and strong analytical skills required.
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills decisionmaking and judgment.
- Demonstrates accountability for personal work product.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics desirable but not required
- Must be proficient in MS excel including pivot tables vlookups and other data analysis tools
