Job Description
Job Title: Mainframe IMS DB Consultant
Job Location: Wilmington DE and Jersey City NJ (3 days per week onsite)
Job Duration: Long Term

Job Duration: Long Term
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Handson practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stability
- IMS and CICS is the main skill
- Exp Level 8 Need hands on Exp
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages.
- Experience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and Security
- Hands on experience in IBMZ/OS COBOL CICSIMS DB/DC DB2 VSAM JCL CA7 Change man/Endeavor Mainframe application development suits and IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution.
- Experience in creating API using zO/S connect & Kafka integration is a plus.
- Demonstrated knowledge and work experience on AWS is a plus.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies
- Knowledge on banking domain & credit card is a plus.
- Exposure to cloud technologies
- Exposure to JAVA
