Job Description

Position Information Type: Fulltime Role MDM Test engineer Location Irvine CA (Hybrid)

Job Description

  • Understand business data requirements and define the test case and conduct review with Business counterpart and deliver prompt efficient quality service
  • Understand the data model used in global data MDM and solutions
  • Understand the concepts and attributes of the data and manage the data dictionary of the tables
  • Validate quality of data and steer data quality improvement action plans
  • Ensure and assess data quality of global data building KPIs (incident management completeness of data etc.) and setting up and automate consistency checks
  • Identify root causes of potential malfunctions and allocate actions to the right stakeholders
  • Partner with Product Owners and Data Engineers to Understand the pipeline implementation plan
  • Identify vulnerabilities through rigorous testing procedures
  • Design install and test software databases
  • Coordinate with the design team to solve weaknesses of the application
  • Examine the user stories and functional requirements from a quality perspective
  • Create and set up testing environments in which test cases and scenarios can be run
  • Participate in the creation implementation and management of QA processes tools and supporting technology
