Job Description
OVP Health is actively seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine or EMexperienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician to help grow our Holzer Health Programs in Gallipolis Ohio.
OVP is a familyowned physician group practice company focused on the delivery of hospitalist and emergency department physicians. OVPs physicians and affiliated providers practice in hospitals and other inpatient facilities. The current opportunity is provided by OVP as contracted by Holzer Health System
Job Description:
- Board Certified Emergency Medicine OR Board Certified Internal Medicine/Family Medicine with EM experience are welcome to apply
- Physicianled organization
- 21k/yr ED volume
- 20 bed ED
- 24 hours/day of physician coverage (12hour shifts)
- 14 hours/day of APP coverage
- Paragon EMR
- FullTime Employee (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC)
- Competitive rates
- Onsite administrative support
- This is a fulltime permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview.
- Not accepting new graduate candidates experience required
- Not accepting visa candidates
- Accepting Locums candidates submit to Job 49424
- May be contracted as W2 w/benefits or 1099 independent contractor w/ guaranteed shifts. These are allinclusive rates:
1099 BR50/hr
W2 BR40/hr
Additional BR/hour would be added for candidates interested in working all night shifts.

Requirement description :
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIRED AT NAME CLEAR UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine OR Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience REQUIRED
- Employment experience in Emergency Medicine of at least 12 months/2000 hours (not including training) REQUIRED
- OH License (in hand or in process) REQUIRED
- List of procedures the provider is experienced in performing (note in Experience field) REQUIRED
- Proof of COVID Vaccination Status (upload to Documents) REQUIRED
- Permanent Placement Fee (note in Additional Submission Details at name clear) REQUIRED
- Does the provider require visa support J1 or H1B (note in Additional Submission Details field) REQUIRED
- Clean malpractice & licensing REQUIRED
