This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring quality assurance standards are maintained across all IT services.
Core Responsibilities:
The IT Project Manager will plan and oversee resource availability for various IT projects, ensuring that each project is delivered efficiently and effectively. Managing all aspects of project delivery is vital, which includes directing team strategies such as knowledge sharing and cross-training among team members. This approach fosters a culture of continuous learning and adaptability to different technologies and applications.
A key responsibility is to ensure that support requests are addressed within budgetary constraints and meet the defined expectations of stakeholders. This includes overseeing the evaluation and selection of vendors to align with business needs, as well as directing cost and quality management during project execution. The IT Project Manager will align program plans for large initiatives, ensuring that all projects are strategically coordinated and resourced appropriately.
Additionally, the role involves managing project resources, including technology, personnel, and logistics. Effective planning and scheduling are essential to ensure that projects are executed on time. The IT Project Manager will also oversee the design, configuration, and testing of new processes, ensuring that implementations are managed efficiently and rolled out in a timely manner.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, along with recognized IT certifications such as PMP, CAPM, CGEIT, or CISSP. A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, particularly within the banking sector, is required. Candidates should have an in-depth knowledge of IT products and services, along with strong familiarity with project management methodologies and quality control standards.
Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential, as the role requires effective communication with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in project management and quality assurance, contributing to the overall success of the organization’s IT initiatives.
