JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a highly motivated candidate who demonstrates commitment to customer service and possesses strong technical skills and proficiency working with:
Windows Server/Desktop operating systems users administration file system software and services
Understanding of servers and various storage RAID configuration
Active Directory management including backup and recovery of domain and GPO setup
Fundamental networking concepts and troubleshooting such as DHCP DNS Routing Firewall
Fundamental understanding of security principles ACL Encryption
Scripting: PowerShell bash ksh or perl for automating routine tasks
Experienced with monitoring system health and performance able to provide statistics to identify bottlenecks and lead optimization efforts
Disaster recovery planning and ability to perform backup and restore for systems applications and data
Patch and firmware installation and management
Strong customer service mindset providing 1 end user support experience
The ideal candidate is well organized detailoriented flexible to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines with a safety mind set.
This individual must also exercise good judgment integrity and render sound business decisions. The applicant should possess strong oral and written communication skills and able to produce documentation on solutions and system design. Bachelors degree (preferably in Information Technology) with a minimum of 8 years experience in IT Support.
The successful candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of various computing platforms from servers networks storage including scripting experience for automation. Must have the ability to lift/transport server equipment when needed. Must be able to provide offhour oncall support for workstation server and other system related issues that requires travel to various supported sites. Must be willing and able to work overtime and be flexible with work hours to respond to emergencies or scheduled work that must be done either prior to or after normal business hours. Must have the means and be able to travel to various Company locations.
TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 35 years of handson experience in cyber security system administration or a related role. Proven experience in cyber security & system administration including Windows Linux and cloud platforms (AWS Azure Oracle). Strong knowledge of networking protocols firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Familiarity with bulk deployment tools and automation. Scripting or programming skills (Python PowerShell Bash) for automation is a plus. Knowledge of encryption authentication and access control mechanisms. Experience working with distributed systems and microservices architectures. Experience with network security tools such as NIDS/NIPS/Proxy/Secure Web Gateway/Firewall. Experience with AV/EDR/XDR solutions. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail. Versatility adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
