Location: Remote (Must be located in Texas)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join the Administrative Applications Production Data Services team as a contractor. This role focuses on supporting the development and implementation of enhancements and modifications to the Financial Data Warehouse.
Requirements:
Minimum Experience:
- 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 8 years of SQL experience.
- 8 years of experience in system reporting particularly with Oracle and SQL.
- 8 years of experience in systems testing including Unit Integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- 8 years of experience working in Agile software development methodologies.
Preferred Experience:
- 2 years of experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features.
- 2 years of experience in project and/or product management.
- 2 years of experience with Jira.
Responsibilities:
As a Business Analyst in this role you will be responsible for:
- Gathering analyzing and documenting business requirements for system modifications and enhancements.
- Developing and refining system design specifications based on gathered requirements.
- Creating detailed business requirement documents and user stories.
- Collaborating with business teams to understand their needs and coordinate efforts with technical teams for implementation.
- Facilitating demos leading scrum meetings and managing user communication.
- Ensuring thorough systems testing (unit integration UAT) to validate business needs.
- Supporting an Agile development environment including coordination of sprints and other Agile processes.
- Providing oncall support as necessary depending on the project phase.
Additional Information:
Candidates must have experience working in an Agile environment. Some oncall support may be required depending on the projects timeline and phase.
