Network Engineer in charge of technical aspect in implementing and support of IT network projects for clients. Their duties include attending project meeting technical requirement study project planning and technical deployment of the network infrastructures project with other project team members. Other scope including taking part in technical support of any possible network operation faults finer tuning and maintenance.
Requirement:
- Diploma Advance Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology Engineering (Telecommunications) or equivalent
- IT Network knowledge (OSI network layers TCP/IP Switching Routing VLAN Wireless)
- IT Security knowledge (Firewall EndPoint Security Policy and Enforcement of Unified Threat Management)
- Ability to understand produce network diagrams documentation for design and planning network systems
- Strong ability with interest to pickup and learn new technology or solution through technical research training hand on trial and self R&D
- Proficient in English communication with ability to speak and write effectively capable of respond to calls and meetings with customersteam member and vendors
- Handson experience with configuration monitoring and network diagnostic
- CCNA/HCIA or higher would be added advantage
- Project management experience or having been integral to projects would be advantage
- Result oriented with excellent process and SOP executor with right attitudes is important.
- Minimum 25 years working experience in IT network support position
Responsibilities:
- Participate in given technical assignment in companies network infrastructure project.
- Involve and take part in project study for network infrastructure design
- Communicate and collaborate with multitier personnel such as clients partners and vendors for scope of deliverable.
- Take part in project delivery management Installation configure test and maintain network infrastructure
- Prepare pre and postproject documentation
- Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for solution resolution and escalation if require.
- Attending to Level2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure meeting SLA
- Act as advisor and technical educator for non technical team members in aspect of IT network knowledge and know how.
Working Hour:
- Monday to Friday 8:30am 6:00pm
- Occasionally Weekend and Public Holiday on Project basis
