Job Description
Job Description: Installs hardware such as inserts rivets standoffs gaskets nameplates and other mechanical components in sheet metal and machined parts using pneumatic hydraulic electric and hand tools and machinery including riveters fasteners setters presses Helicoil installation tools etc.
Performs sheet metal/machine shop general laborer tasks including but not limited to grinding/sanding weldments using portable and stationary pneumatic tools straightening bent and twisted parts/assemblies using manual jacks and hydraulic presses washing parts/assemblies in aqueous and ultrasonic machines.
Performs necessary hand operations such as filing sing straightening mechanical assembly etc.
Uses various types of hand tools such as files hammers sers wrenches etc.; and various measuring instruments such as plug gages snap gages indicators verniers micrometers depth gages etc.
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to nonrepetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules boards panels drawers frames and cables. Works from diagrams and drawings makes initial layouts and uses hand and/or power tools jigs and saws.
First shift hours: 5:30am4:00pm Monday through Thursday 4x10 schedule.
