Job Description

Athens GA
Contract Duration: 336 months
Rate: Negotiable

Responsibilities:

  • Excellent employment opportunity for a QC Media Technician in the Athens GA area.
  • Perform maintain and train on techniques and methods for producing media required for Quality Control testing which includes autoclaving and cleaning glassware.
  • Prepare media and sterile supplies according to Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Provide accurate and concurrent laboratory documentation using data capture and records.
  • Monitor and replenish media as required to prevent any testing delays.
  • Maintain supply of consumables and accurate inventory logs.
  • Understand and follow cleaning and disinfection procedures.
  • Conduct routine equipment monitoring.
  • In addition to the above other assigned duties deemed appropriate within the position scope.

Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Aseptic technique knowledge.
  • Ability to use an autoclave steam kettle and bottle washer.
  • Basic math skills and equipment trouble shooting skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Required Skills: QUALITY CONTROL
