Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator with advanced expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of database architectures security principles and performance tuning. This role requires a proactive problemsolver who can manage multiple complex database systems while participating in a rotational 24x7 oncall production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases with a focus on performance tuning and security.
- Collaborate with development teams to design scalable database solutions and implement indexing strategies.
- Monitor database performance identify bottlenecks and optimize queries for improved efficiency.
- Manage backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Automate routine database tasks using scripting languages such as Bash and PL/SQL.
