Job Description
Job title: Azure / SQL DBA with Experience of having worked on portfolio / fund accounting system like Investran.
Location: New York city NY hybrid
Duration: Contract
Skills/ Experience (Technical)
- Overall 810 Years of IT experience.
- Hands on experience with managing existing SQL Server and Azure SQL
- Should be able to provision a new Azure SQL database.
- Be responsible for backup and restoring of Azure SQL databases.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery for data and applications availability
- Be able to work on modernizing applications using Azure SQL Managed Instance.
- Have skills on database management and be able to Configure and maintain SQL Server systems in Azure environments
- Must have used performance monitoring with tools like Azure Monitor to identify bottlenecks
- Hands on experience of having worked on database migrations.
- Should have the ability to troubleshoot and correct issues in real time.
- Experience of having worked on portfolio / fund accounting system like Investran.
- Nice to have To be able to automate common data management tasks using scripting language.
