Job Description
Summary: We are seeking a seniorlevel Database Administrator with advanced expertise in both Oracle and PostgreSQL databases. The candidate will manage database installation performance tuning security and disaster recovery while ensuring high availability. They should be proficient in database architecture monitoring and troubleshooting with the ability to work under pressure and handle complex systems. The role also involves oncall production support.

- Work Mode: Remote
Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
- Design and optimize scalable database structures and indexing strategies.
- Monitor performance and tune databases for optimal efficiency.
- Implement backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure database security by configuring roles permissions and encryption.
- Perform data migrations ETL processes and database integration tasks.
- Manage high availability clustering and failover solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues while providing technical support.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Advanced expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux and database installation/configuration.
- Proficient in performance tuning tools (Oracle AWR pgstatstatements).
- Strong scripting skills (Bash PowerShell PL/SQL PL/pgSQL) for automation.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards (GDPR SOX HIPAA).
- Proven experience with database clustering replication and high availability solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
- Excellent problemsolving communication and collaboration skills.
