1. Design and Development
System Design: Design electrical systems and components for various projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and industry standards.
Circuit Design: Develop and test circuit designs, selecting appropriate components for functionality and efficiency.
2. Project Management
Project Planning: Assist in planning electrical projects, estimating costs, and scheduling timelines for completion.
Coordination: Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
3. Technical Analysis
Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects and recommend solutions.
Problem-Solving: Analyze electrical systems for performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Compliance and Standards
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE).
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of design processes, specifications, and compliance reports.
5. Testing and Validation
Prototyping: Build and test prototypes of electrical components to validate designs and performance.
Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests and evaluations on electrical systems, making adjustments as required.
6. Maintenance and Support
Troubleshooting: Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues in existing systems.
Maintenance Plans: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
7. Research and Development
Innovative Solutions: Stay updated on emerging technologies and advancements in electrical engineering to drive innovation.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving designs and processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
8. Team Collaboration
Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
Mentoring: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns in electrical engineering practices.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BE in Electrical)
2 years’ experience in GCC
Strong command over MS Office.
Basic Auto CAD Skills / Other Relevant Software
Documentation and document management skills.
Basic estimation skills.
Project Experience: Proven experience managing or contributing to electrical projects from conception to completion.
3. Technical Skills
Design Software Proficiency: Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, or PSpice).
Circuit Design: Strong knowledge of circuit design, analysis, and simulation tools.
4. Analytical Skills
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
Data Analysis: Ability to analyze performance data and make data-driven decisions.
5. Communication Skills
Verbal and Written Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Technical Documentation: Ability to prepare clear and concise technical documentation and reports.
6. Project Management
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Budget Management: Experience in estimating costs and managing project budgets.
7. Team Collaboration
Cross-Functional Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with engineers from other disciplines, as well as with clients and contractors.
