Roles and responsibilities

Installation, Testing, Commissioning and Maintenance of KNX Automation System, Guest Room Management System, LCS.

Honeywell Inncom GRMS system Testing commissioning knowledge is added advantage

Monitoring progress, recording all test results, witnessing final testing and acceptance of equipment and compilation of all documentation for inclusion in the site tests and handing over.

Maintaining system with all PPM charts.
1. Design and Development
Automation Solutions: Assist in designing and developing automation systems and solutions for various processes.
Programming: Write and maintain code for automation scripts, often using languages like Python, Java, or specialized automation software.
2. Testing and Validation
Test Automation: Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate functionality and performance of systems.
Debugging: Identify and troubleshoot issues in automation processes and implement solutions.
3. Collaboration
Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with software developers, QA teams, and other engineering staff to integrate automation solutions into existing systems.
Documentation: Collaborate on creating and maintaining documentation for automation processes, scripts, and systems.
4. Implementation and Support
Deployment: Assist in deploying automation solutions and monitoring their performance in production environments.
Technical Support: Provide support for existing automation systems, addressing any issues that arise.
5. Continuous Improvement
Process Evaluation: Evaluate current processes to identify areas for automation and improvement.
Feedback Loop: Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to enhance automation solutions and drive efficiencies.
6. Learning and Development
Skill Development: Stay updated on the latest automation tools and technologies, and actively seek opportunities for learning and development.
Mentorship: Seek guidance from senior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
7. Reporting and Documentation
Performance Metrics: Assist in monitoring and reporting on the performance of automated systems.
Documentation: Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of automation processes and systems.
8. Compliance and Standards
Adherence to Standards: Ensure that all automation processes comply with industry standards and best practices.
Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining high quality and reliability in automated processes.

Desired candidate profile

Experience - 3 to 6 years

Education - Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, or Equivalent.

Product Expertise - KNX, ABB, Schneider, Honeywell.

KNX certification mandatory.
Internships: Some practical experience through internships, co-op programs, or relevant projects in automation or software engineering is preferred.
Familiarity with Tools: Exposure to automation tools and technologies (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, Ansible) is a plus.
3. Technical Skills
Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
Software Development: Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
4. Analytical Skills
