Job Description
Maintenance Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Manage and motivate mechanical maintenance personnel.
- Coordinate with planners to schedule and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
- Provide technical solutions for mechanical and instrumentation challenges.
- Collaborate with the reliability team to implement preventive programs and reduce downtime.
- Work closely with operators to address operational issues and identify process improvements.
- Mentor team members and help develop their technical skills.
- Support outage planning and execution.
- Provide rotating weekend and oncall production coverage.
Qualifications:
- 35 years of mechanical maintenance supervisory experience preferably in a paper mill or heavy manufacturing.
- Strong background in reliabilitycentered maintenance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor s in Engineering preferred.
Experience 2 or more years of experience programming Allen Bradley PLC's, and HMI's. or Siemens PLC's 2 or more years of experience programming Factory Talk Panel View Experience in site commissioning and startup of control systems.
