Job Description
This is a remote position.
As a Backend Developer you will be the backbone of our technical solutions ensuring that our systems are built with the highest standards of security efficiency and scalability. Your work will focus on building optimizing and maintaining backend services that seamlessly integrate with the frontend creating a smooth experience for our users. Working with Python or Node.js you ll handle everything from RESTful API development to managing databases all while keeping performance and security in mind. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment with modern frameworks databases and cloud services this role is for you!
Your Day Might Include:
- Developing RESTful APIs using FastAPI or NestJS.
- Managing databases like PostgreSQL MySQL or MongoDB.
- Implementing security best practices using JWT OAuth etc.
- Collaborating with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration.
- Working with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
- Writing tests using PyTest or Jest to ensure highquality code.
- Containerizing applications using Docker.
- Participating in task management and sprint planning using Jira or Trello.
Requirements
What We Hope You Bring to the Table:
- Proficiency in Python or Node.js backend development.
- Handson experience with FastAPI or NestJS frameworks.
- Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git version control and Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services like AWS or GCP (optional).
- Understanding of security best practices.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for building efficient reliable systems.
What We Hope You Bring to the Table: Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping. Strong skills in user research, wireframing, and visual design. Experience in usability testing and responsive design. A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating user-centric designs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
