Job Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for handson Hotel Manager who can lead a small team from the front in a business where the focus is 100% on looking after your guests.
The hotel is situated in a stunning location and provides bed breakfast and evening meals to it s guests in the Keswick area. They also have a warm and inviting bar and the ethos of the business is to offer guests a friendly welcoming and comfortable stay in a quality establishment.
Reservations marketing and accounts are looked after off site which means you can focus fully on the customers and your team.
Your new job
- Managing a small team (up to 12 staff).
- Manage housekeeping front desk food and beverages and maintenance.
- Meet and greet customers deal with complaints (and compliments!) and ensure guests have a positive experience.
- Recruit train and motivate staff and plan work schedules.
- Oversee fire safety building security and site maintenance.
- Get handson when necessary (serving guests housekeeping etc).
Requirements
- Previous hotel management experience or deputy looking to step up.
- Handson management style.
- Great at managing motivating and developing staff.
- Passionate about customer service.
Benefits
- Starting salary of 36000 (Livein) to 42000 (Liveout)
- Permanent staff position.
- 28 days holidays per year.
