Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
2. Team Leadership: Lead motivate and mentor production teams to achieve production targets maintain quality standards and adhere to safety protocols.
3. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement cost reduction and efficiency gains through the application of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications by implementing quality control measures conducting inspections and addressing nonconformities.
5. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of raw materials workinprogress and finished goods to ensure adequate supply and minimize excess inventory.
6. Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate maintenance activities for production equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
7. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards by implementing safety protocols conducting safety training and promoting a culture of safety awareness.
8. Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to production teams to troubleshoot issues resolve technical challenges and optimize production processes.
9. Quality Documentation: Maintain accurate production records including production reports quality documentation and inventory records to track production performance and compliance.
10. Crossfunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments including engineering procurement and logistics to coordinate production activities resolve issues and achieve organizational goals.
