Job Description
AAP/Carquest flex drivers are hauling Auto parts & hazmat batteries. Floaters are responsible for filling in for other AAP/Carquest drivers who are out sick and/or using PTO. Drivers who are floaters must be flexible and willing to travel to various AAP/Carquest locations as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- 12 Months of recent tractor trailer experience.
- Clean MVR
- Can pass a DOT regulated Drug screen
Hiring Radius
- 30 Miles within Lakeland FL
Schedule
- varies Can dispatch anywhere between 10PM and 3AM Floater drivers MUST BE FLEXIBLE and willing to run overnights and have a potential layover
- Daily potential layover may be required at times. Drivers MUST be ok with this.
Freight Type
- Driver will unload at AAP/Carquest stores using an electric pallet jack
Pay
- .45CPM Guaranteed weekly minimum 1387.00
- Minimum pay is based on being available to work all shifts. If a shift cannot be made for any reason including but not limited to vacation sick time etc. The driver will be disqualified from the minimum pay.
