Job Description
Our dynamic school in West London seeks a talented and enthusiastic Resistant Materials teacher to join our vibrant faculty. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the opportunity to inspire and nurture young minds in a supportive and academically rigorous environment.
About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Resistant Materials lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and creative learning environment that fosters a love of design problemsolving and practical skills.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of resistant materials techniques and processes.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Design Technology department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Resistant Materials or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Resistant Materials and a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a diverse learning environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
