RN - 7CD - Med Surg

General job duties. Types of procedures required. Collaborates with other interprofessional colleagues including physicians to plan implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. 7CD is a 32bed inpatient MedicalSpecialty Unit. The patients we provide care for are adult medical/surgical patients as well as patients experiencing behavioral disturbances. Wide variety of med/surg patients. All of our rooms are private with their own bathroom/toilet and gait belt/walker for safe patient mobility. Will get some behavioral admits. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EMREpic Telemetry Philips monitors Bladder scanner Acuivein Omnicell Required skills and minimum years of experience. 1 year med/surg experience. Experience with large hospital busy environment. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS must be AHA. ND or compact state RN license. Shift or schedule requirements. 12 hour Day/Night rotation every other weekend and holiday Floating to over units/departments. 7CD home unit can float to any med/surg unit within Fargo Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. 32 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. 5:1 on days 6:1 on nights Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs

Comments:12 hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday. May also be able to do straight nights. 36 or 48 hours (OT billed after 48). Will float to all MS units on all 3 campuses in Fargo as needed. Cannot take a traveler who lives within 60 miles of the facility. Can take someone who lives 61 to 80 miles at the local rate. Local rate reduces the client rate by xx8.00/hour.
