Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts based on product requirements and specifications.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to identify software defects and ensure functionality meets standards.
- Document track and manage defects using bug tracking tools ensuring clear communication with development teams.
- Conduct performance load and stress testing to evaluate software performance under varying conditions.
- Execute regression tests to confirm that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
- Work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment on quality expectations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases test results and best practices for future reference.
- Assist in UAT by coordinating with endusers to ensure the software meets their needs and expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in software quality assurance or testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools (e.g. Selenium JIRA TestRail).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages (e.g. Python Java or JavaScript).
- Experience in version control systems (e.g. Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively convey issues and collaborate with team members.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) are a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
