Pay Rate: $ 20.50 / hour
We have partnered with a large Wireless Services Company in Mobile AL to provide them with a Vehicle Installer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.
Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Vehicle Installer:
#1. Preferably Two (2) plus years experience in Electronics and/or electrical equipment.
#2. Tools required for installation of above police related vehicle equipment to include but not limited to wire strippers crimpers socket sets wrenches pliers cutters electric driver drills and ratchets.
#3. Willingness to perform work in a nonair conditioned and/or outdoor environment.
Requirements of the Vehicle Installer:
- A high school diploma GED or equivalent education is typically necessary for this role.
- Requires proficiency in using various tools such as wire strippers crimpers socket sets wrenches pliers cutters electric drivers drills and ratchets for installing specialized vehicle equipment.
- The role involves physical tasks including standing and bending throughout the day.
- Ability to professionally represent the organization at various levels.
- Candidates should be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working in nonclimatecontrolled or outdoor environments.
- Selfmotivation and independence are key traits for success in this role.
- Must obtain FCC GROL certification within 180 days of starting (company covers the cost).
- Ideally candidates should have two or more years of experience with electronics or electrical equipment.
Other Key Requirements:
- Onsite role
- Occasional overnight/ multiple night travel 10%25%.
- Schedule MonFriday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM occasional OVERTIME
- Candidates must pass a preemployment background check and drug test and must have a valid US drivers license and a reasonably clean driving record for the past five years.
- Due to the Law Enforcement Systems this role will work on candidates with Felonies will not pass a background check.
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No CorptoCorp.
