Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, accumulators and filters.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on hydraulic systems.
Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of hydraulic systems.
Monitor and maintain hydraulic fluid levels and quality, including filtration and fluid replacement
Provide technical advice and assistance to other members of the engineering team, as well as monitoring and Controlling the quality of the hydraulic systems.
Installation and Assembly:

Install and assemble hydraulic systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and engineering drawings.
Maintenance and Repair:

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
Diagnose and resolve hydraulic system malfunctions and failures.
System Testing:

Conduct tests on hydraulic systems and components to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
Monitor system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize functionality.
Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations when working on hydraulic systems.
Conduct safety inspections and assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and modifications made to hydraulic systems and components.
Prepare detailed reports on system status, performance, and any issues encountered.
Troubleshooting:

Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues in hydraulic systems.
Analyze symptoms and determine the root cause of hydraulic problems.
Collaboration:

Work closely with engineers, operators, and other technicians to ensure effective hydraulic system operation and integration with other systems.
Provide technical support and training to team members and operators on hydraulic system maintenance and safety.
Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory of hydraulic components and supplies to ensure availability for repairs and maintenance.
Order parts and materials as needed, maintaining cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance system performance.
Stay updated on advancements in hydraulic technology and maintenance practices through ongoing training.
Emergency Response:

Respond to hydraulic system emergencies and breakdowns, assessing the situation and implementing immediate solutions to minimize downtime.
Participate in emergency drills and safety training as required.
Environmental Compliance:

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations related to hydraulic fluids and system maintenance practices.
Implement proper disposal methods for hydraulic fluids and components.


Desired candidate profile

Technical High school Certificate and related experience training; or equivalent Combination of education and experience in hydraulic system / Diploma preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the related position.
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of hydraulics and have the ability to Repair and replace damaged parts. Related Professional Training, Certification.
Knowledge / experience and troubleshooting of the following crane Liebherr Or DEMAG Or GROVE, Tadano.
Familiarity with various hydraulic equipment and systems used in industries such as construction, manufacturing, or automotive.
Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, components, and systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, pressure gauges, and hydraulic test equipment.
Problem-Solving Abilities:

Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hydraulic system issues effectively.
Ability to analyze complex systems and identify root causes of failures.
Attention to Detail:

High level of attention to detail in diagnostics, repairs, and documentation to ensure safety and accuracy.
Communication Skills:

Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, engineers, and clients.
Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical personnel.
Safety Awareness:

Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to hydraulic systems and maintenance.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Team Player:

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support colleagues in various tasks.
Flexibility to assist in other mechanical or technical areas as needed.

Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy components and working in confined spaces.
