Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Analyst with a strong understanding of API testing to join our banking team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical skills, technical acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Requirements Analysis:
  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements for banking products and services, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
• API Testing:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive API testing strategies to validate the functionality, performance, and security of banking systems.
  • Utilize API testing tools and frameworks to automate test cases and identify defects.
  • Analyze test results and report findings to relevant teams.
• Data Analysis:
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in banking operations.
  • Prepare data-driven reports and presentations to support decision-making.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders, including business users, developers, and testers, to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Manage expectations and resolve conflicts.

  • Requirements Gathering:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements, goals, and objectives.
    • Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather information and insights.

  • Business Process Analysis:

    • Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
    • Map out processes using flowcharts and diagrams to visualize current and future states.

  • Data Analysis:

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making and identify trends or patterns.
    • Use data visualization tools to present findings in a clear and actionable manner.

  • Solution Design:

    • Develop and propose solutions that meet business needs, including system enhancements, process improvements, or new technologies.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with technical requirements.

  • Documentation:

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
    • Ensure all documentation is clear, organized, and accessible to stakeholders.

Desired candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry.
• Strong understanding of API testing methodologies and tools
• Proficiency in data analysis tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
