Job Description

1. Design and oversee the implementation of technical solutions that meet product requirements while aligning approved technologies and architectural standards.
2. Act as a bridge between product teams and development teams translating business needs into technical requirements and explaining technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
3. Provide regular feedback to the associated line of business regarding technical risks and opportunities helping to inform strategic decisionmaking.
4. Develop a deep understanding of the product's needs and its customers' requirements using this knowledge to drive technological innovation and improvement.
5. Coordinate with the Platform Solutions Architect to ensure productlevel architectural decisions align with overall platform and technology strategy and to maximise the use of cloud platform capabilities.
6. Participate in and contribute to the architecture review group representing the interests of their product area(s) and ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.
7. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and approaches that could benefit the product considering factors such as scalability performance security and costeffectiveness.
8. Guide development teams in implementing best practices for software architecture code quality and technical debt management.
9. Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to ensure that technical solutions support and enhance the overall user experience.
10. Contribute to the development of technical roadmaps aligning them with product roadmaps and organisational strategy.
11. Maintain and continuously develop technical competence to understand systems and emerging technologies at a level where you can drive significant innovation within your product area(s).
12. Provide a high level of consistency in the role recognizing that your stable presence and reliable performance drive outsized benefits for the organisation.
13. Actively champion and embody the desired organisational culture particularly as it relates to engineering excellence innovation and crossteam collaboration.
14. Adopt a futurelooking perspective regularly partnering and discussing with product teams to align technical capabilities with longterm product and business strategies.
15. Maintain a high level of expertise and institutional knowledge of systems and products through knowledge sharing adequate documentation and collaboration.
