Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist in Lane County Oregon to Perform dental cleanings exams and fluoride treatments for patients of all ages. Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices. Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

Must be licensed as a Dental Hygienist in Oregon

Hold current CPR certification.

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

Proficiency with electronic health record systems specifically EPIC/OCHIN

Familiarity with community health practices and integrated care models preferred.

Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings and examinations including scaling and polishing teeth.

Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and overall dental health.

Take dental radiographs (Xrays) and assist the dentist in diagnosing conditions.

Record and maintain patient dental histories and treatment plans.

Provide pre and postoperative care instructions to patients.

Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care.

Stay updated on dental hygiene practices and continuing education.
