Job Description
The Financial & Accounting Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the organizations financial health by providing accurate financial reporting and analysis. Reporting directly to the CFO this position requires a detailoriented professional who can navigate complex financial data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial statements maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and ensuring adherence to GAAP and SEC requirements. The analyst will also support the budgeting and forecasting processes utilizing financial modeling techniques to inform strategic decisionmaking. This role presents an opportunity to develop professionally and potentially transition into a Controller position in the future.
Requirements
Work Experience: 4 years
Required Skills:
- Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in bookkeeping
- Experience with financial reporting and regulatory compliance including GAAP and SEC standards
- Proficiency in budgeting financial modeling and forecasting techniques
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
- Effective communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CPA preferred
- 4 years of experience in financial analysis and accounting
- Indepth knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial modeling tools
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Willingness to work in person preferably based in the Dominican Republic
