Job Description
The Head of Cloud Operations will be responsible for overseeing the organization s cloud infrastructure and services ensuring the highest levels of availability performance and security. Reporting directly to the CTO this role requires a seasoned professional with a solid background in cloud technologies and a passion for driving operational excellence within the FinTech industry.
Key responsibilities will include managing the design implementation and optimization of cloud services as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. The Head of Cloud Operations will lead a team of cloud engineers and operations staff fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. This position also involves working closely with other departments to align cloud strategy with business objectives and customer needs.
Requirements
Work Experience: 6 years
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management specifically with AWS
- Proven track record in managing cloud services operations for the FinTech sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead crossfunctional teams
- Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and Agile frameworks
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to cloud operations
- Ability to analyze and optimize cloud resource usage and performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- 6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management with a focus on AWS
- Strong understanding of cloud service operations within the FinTech sector
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage diverse teams
- Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies
- Willingness to work remotely with a preference for candidates based in Latin America
