About our client:
We are looking for 2 very strong and experienced contractors to help with a FICA compliance project. Our client is stable well run (almost 100 years old!). You will be working with the most competent subject matter experts in the property space. What you will be doing:
- Provide essential administrative support to the Compliance Officer helping ensure smooth client compliance with key legislation this might include Popia and FIC Act.
- Work closely with Legal Counsel and the Compliance Officer actively contributing to the implementation of FIC Amendment Act requirements and maintaining a strong compliance culture.
- Collaborate with the FICA Compliance Officer to support the business in applying the Risk Management and Compliance Program effectively.
- Play a key role in introducing and implementing new and updated regulatory requirements helping ensure the company remains compliant and uptodate.
What you need:
- Strong admin and attention to detail ideally in either the legal or property space although a solid banking admin or book keeping background with a dynamic energy would be welcome
- Basic knowledge of corporate compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages and strong online research skills.
- Processdriven and analytical with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong planning organisational and risk identification abilities.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and ability to engage with stakeholders.
- Ability to draw relevant insights and work well in a demanding team.
- Resilient and a strong team player.
Work Type:
- This position is on a temporary basis (13 months)
