Assertiv are an IT Security company providing Identity related solutions support training and managed services to organisations throughout Australia New Zealand and SE Asia. We are currently looking for talented Security Consultants and Software Engineers with a background in designing developing implementing and supporting Identity Security solutions in the Australian market.
We are seeking candidates who are hungry to learn new technologies and are willing to do the hard yards when it comes to delivering successful outcomes for our customers. In return we will provide you with training across a variety of products and technologies onsite (or remote) customer experience and the support of a great team to help you further develop your skills and experience in IT Security.
This role will engage in customer Identity projects under the guidance of more senior Engineers to undertake the following projectbased activities:
- Install and configure Identity Management Access Governance and Access Management related products
- Develop integrations between Identity systems and business applications
- Develop or enhance existing UIs utilizing brand/style guides for SPA frameworks (Angular Vue.js React etc.)
- Develop and deploy functions within a microservice architecture
- Conduct functional testing and undertake code fixes as required
- Assist with System Integration Performance and User Acceptance Testing
- Build thorough automated test scripts (e.g. JMeter Junit Mocha etc.)
- Work with DevOps teams to design and develop endtoend processes (CI/CD) relating to the Identity system
- Assist with documentation (Solution Design Test Cases Deployment Guides Asbuilt documents)
- Develop connectors for applications (JDBC REST SCIM Flatfile etc.)
- Design and implement single signon using open standards (OAuth OpenID Connect SAML WSFED)
- Design and implement advanced authentication processes (Multifactor Biometrics Mobile Device Push Notification Risk Based Authentication)
- Assist with handover and/or training to customer BAU/Operations teams
- Provide ongoing solution support for customer implementations
Requirements
We are interested in candidates with the following attributes and experience:
- University graduated or Tertiary/TAFE accredited with course work around software development computer networks and web development
- One to three years of professional work experience in an IT security related environment
- Experience with developing implementing and configuring IT Security solutions
- Experience with web application development. Including front end (SPA Frameworks) back end (e.g. Microservices Containers Serverless) and data storage (e.g. SQL NoSQL LDAP)
- Provide evidence of experience of the above in the form of a portfolio GitHub repo live demonstration etc.
- A strong passion and desire to learn new technology
- An ability to work independently showcasing excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Previous IT projectbased development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expertise with or exposure to any of the following technologies is desirable:
- Workforce Identity Management Customer Identity Management Access Management Single Signon Identity Governance products
- Security concepts and principles (e.g. knowledge of SAML and OAuth application/system security and best practices pen testing)
- Strong programming and scripting skills (Java JavaScript Python PowerShell Bash etc.)
- Networking technologies and concepts (TCP/IP DNS routing switching firewalls)
- Virtualization Citrix VMware
- Cloud computing AWS Azure Google and hybrid environments
- Windows Server/Active Directory
- Linux (Red Hat and/or SUSE) IOS Android
