Job Description
Position: Registered Nurse Wound Care
Position Overview:
Must have knowledge of various wound and ostomy treatment with a background in a clinic situation with a primary setting of adult care with chronic medical problems and the ability to recognize signs and/or symptoms to quickly provide emergency care.
Qualifications:
- Accredited program or 2 years minimum required for this position.
- A major focus or specialization in Nursing.
- Ideally some relevant professional experience though less than a year would suffice.
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Must have BLS and a current Wound Care Certification with an Accredited Wound Care Certification Course.
- At least 6 months Wound Care experience required
