Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Banking Implementation Consultant to join our clients team in Islamabad Pakistan. The consultant will be responsible for facilitating the acquisition and implementation of a Core Banking System for our bank. This is a crucial role that will require the consultant to guide the entire process from the initial selection and procurement of the system to its full integration and operational rollout within the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify the most suitable Core Banking System for our banks needs.
Collaborate with various stakeholders including senior management IT teams and external vendors to ensure a smooth and successful implementation process.
Develop and maintain project plans timelines and budgets for the implementation project.
Provide guidance and support to the banks staff during the implementation process including training and troubleshooting.
Conduct regular progress reviews and provide updates to senior management on the status of the implementation project.
Ensure the successful integration of the Core Banking System with the banks existing systems and processes.
Work closely with the vendor to resolve any technical issues and ensure the system meets the banks requirements.
Stay uptodate with industry trends and advancements in Core Banking Systems to provide recommendations for future enhancements and improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Core Banking Systems preferably in the banking industry.
Strong understanding of banking operations and processes.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex implementation projects.
Excellent project management communication and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge of local banking regulations and compliance requirements.
Willingness to travel as needed.
