Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented Shipping Clerk to handle international shipments documentation and logistics support. This role requires experience with SAP AES filing and a strong understanding of international shipping processes. If you have excellent organizational skills and a background in shipping this position offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and processing international shipments including completing all required documentation.
- Weighing shipments accurately to ensure compliance with shipping standards.
- Creating and verifying Bills of Lading.
- Utilizing SAP for shipment tracking and data entry.
- Completing AES filing and issuing Shippers Letters of Instruction as needed.
- Communicating effectively over the phone with internal teams customers and shipping partners.
- Performing metric calculations to confirm shipment weight dimensions and other specifications.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience in international shipping procedures and compliance.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of AES filing and Shippers Letter of Instructions.
- Excellent phone communication skills.
- Familiarity with metric math for calculating shipment details.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
