Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Practice Veterinarian to join our team on a fulltime basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a General Practice Veterinarian you will be responsible for providing a wide range of medical services to our patients including routine checkups vaccinations and minor surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals and accurately diagnose and treat any medical conditions
Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of illnesses and injuries
Administer vaccinations and perform routine procedures such as spaying and neutering
Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventative health measures
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients
Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide the best possible care for our patients
Stay current on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and techniques
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university
Valid and current state veterinary license
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian
Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and some holidays
