Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Representative
Location:
Dallas TX (Hybrid)
Duration: Full Time: Permanent
Shift: 8 Hours a day 40 hours a week
Citizenship: USC or Green card Holder

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is a fulltime hybrid role that will be responsible for prospecting closing & generating new business to achieve growth. The Business Development Representative will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets maintain a strong understanding of the transportation industry and cultivate relationships with prospects.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • 3 years of experience in freight brokerage in a sales position.
  • Proven track record of success in FTL freight brokerage sales
  • Book of business in hand is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office CRMs & TMS Softwares.
  • The ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and prioritize multiple projects
  • Experience working with carriers freight forwarders and shippers.
  • Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hunting and winning new business.
  • Identifying and assessing a clients critical needs.
  • Promote the companys products or services to prospective clients.
  • Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.
  • Create business proposals/quotations for new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Set and exceed sales quotas.
  • Being a point of contact to priority customers and resolving any issues that they have.
  • Collecting and communicating customer requirements to all necessary departments.
  • Keep all comercial information up to date on the companys sales pipeline in CRM.
  • Responding to client communications or queries.
  • Networking with business partners and customers.
  • Coordination of Presentation/Marketing support to customers and prospects
