Job Description
Job title: Senior Java/JQuery Developer
Location: Boston MA (no relocation will be considered)
Work schedule: 4 days per week on site
Required experience: Candidates need Core Spring and Core Java experience (not Spring Boot) minimum 9 years of overall experience and 100% development experience
Role expectations: Handling live coding assessments in interviews answering Java Beans questions and explaining the workings and application of Core spring MVC framework
Role split: 50% middle tier Server and 50% presentation tier
Responsibilities: Working with Business Analysts source code development unit test case development functional/system integration testing support deployment component design integration and production support
Qualifications: Bachelors degree minimum 5 years experience developing webbased applications minimum 5 years development experience in Java/J2EE technologies experience with multithreading libraries (particularly the Executor framework) Spring Spring MVC Hibernate MyBatis RESTful web services JBoss Apache Tomcat Java JavaScript JSP CSS HTML Angular AJAX techniques modern JavaScript libraries like jQuery XML XSLT JSON SQL database design and stored procedures developing crossbrowser and crossplatform compatible solutions understanding of nonfunctional requirements (performance scalability maintainability security) web application security considerations and prior experience developing property & casualty applications
Personal skills: Selfmotivated and directed ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment analytical and problemsolving abilities keen attention to detail.
