Qualifications:
OPERATOR I/II WATER/WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY Rates range from 28.00 /hr for an Operator I to the max rate of 42.00 /hr for an Operator II. Please submit at an appropriate rate for based on their level. Heres What Youll Need: Grade 1 in wastewater (California) and must obtain a grade 3 within a year. At least one (1) years of experience in operating water/wastewater treatment plants Advanced understanding of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to enter data into a maintenance management system A valid drivers license Class C (CDL). Will also be required to obtain a class B (CDL) driving license within 6 months. Must be able to pass random DOT drug test. Ideally Youll Also Have: A current or working towards obtaining an intermediate to advanced level water/wastewater treatment certification Familiarity of the principles and practices of water/wastewater treatment plant operations valves pumps and motors Safe work practicesResponsibilities:
As an Operator youll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services uninterrupted. Based in Auburn CA youll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment plant including maintenance of equipment and quality control testing report compilation recordkeeping and adhere to compliance with policies and procedures. Youll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in municipal facilities. Youll diagnose operating problems monitor and control adjustments and determine proper rates in the treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water/wastewater sludge and effluent. Youll also collect samples maintain shift logs and perform other duties as required. Most importantly youll take action to ensure the safety health and wellbeing of you and your team. Youll also have to be available 1 week a month for paid on call.Comments/Special Instructions
Permanent Position. Looking for a grade 13 or above California certified wastewater operator and must obtain a grade 3 within a year. Will also be required to obtain a class B driving license within 6 months. Must be able to pass random DOT drug test.Employment Type
