French and Spanish Teacher Sought for Esteemed Secondary School in Surrey
On behalf of our esteemed client a reputable secondary school in Surrey with a strong commitment to language education we are seeking a dynamic and highly qualified French and Spanish Teacher. This fulltime permanent position commences in September and presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic and cultural enrichment of young learners.
The Position
As a French and Spanish Teacher you will play a pivotal role in fostering students language proficiency and cultural awareness across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will inspire a lifelong love of language learning through engaging lessons innovative teaching methods and a supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive language instruction in French and Spanish aligned with the national curriculum and schools educational objectives.
- Create a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation fosters critical thinking and celebrates student achievement.
- Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments providing personalized feedback to support individual growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to enhance the overall language program and contribute to extracurricular activities.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in language education incorporating innovative teaching strategies into your practice.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in French Spanish or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level.
- Native or nearnative fluency in both French and Spanish.
- A passion for language education and a commitment to fostering cultural understanding.
