Psychology Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Wandsworth
We are delighted to collaborate with a wellregarded secondary school in Wandsworth actively seeking a dedicated and inspiring Psychology Teacher to join their faculty. This fulltime permanent position offers a unique opportunity to cultivate a passion for the human mind and behavior in young learners.
Position Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive and engaging Psychology curriculum to students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The role entails fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking intellectual curiosity and a deep understanding of psychological concepts and theories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver captivating Psychology lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement and participation.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Social Sciences or Humanities department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in Psychology education.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelors degree or higher in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Psychology at the secondary level particularly at Key Stages 4 and 5.
