About the Company

As part of the suite of Crimson business divisions newly founded Delta Institute offers a suite of extra/supercurricular related products with a clear focus on equipping students with the delta factor in their profiles. Delta Institute comprises of:

Delta Careers: The purpose of this unit is offering and facilitating unique work experience opportunities for high school students. These are cohort based work experience opportunities in partnership with top global companies. We offer a twofold educational product:

Upskilling: Crimson works with mentors from top fortune 500 companies to offer a foundational setting to learn practical careers skills in specific domains. For every workexperience program students upskill in two programspecific modules (e.g. Product Management and UI/UX Design). There is also a core module called Careers Toolkit where students immerse in corporate communications and build teamworking and teambonding skills; projectbased work skills; leadership skills; and more. In each module there is rigorous both formative and summative assessment involved.

CaseStudy: Crimson partners with top global companies to offer a projectbased experience where students will be able to create actual impact through the partner companies. The likes of Uber PwC Dentons Stripe and Ferrari. Divided in teams they work on a companyassigned casestudy for the whole month of the program and present their work in front of company representatives at a final pitchnight assembly.

Delta Launch: Delta Launch is designed to offer high school students a comprehensive set of extracurricular experiences that not only enhance their skills but also add significant value to their college or university applications.

With Delta Launch students can dive into two distinct skillbuilding programs:

1. Delta AI & Code: This program gives students handson experience in AI and coding. They will create their first AI project and develop their first coding solution gaining practical skills in technology fields that are in high demand. Delta AI & Code prepares students for future academic challenges and career opportunities in STEM fields by equipping them with realworld projectbased experience.

2. Delta Inspire: In Delta Inspire students learn how to start their own podcast or organize a TEDx event. This program focuses on practical communication event planning and media production skills. By the end of the program students will have produced a tangible outcomea podcast or TEDx eventthat they can showcase in their portfolios and college applications demonstrating their initiative creativity and leadership.

Overall Delta Institute products aim at empowering students to reach new heights bringing all the delta in their (university) application profiles. This role will be focusing on overseeing the management growth and scaling of the Delta Institute division and its suite of units/products.

What is this role responsible for We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Podcast Development Mentor to lead a course titled Launch Your Own Podcast. The mentor will be responsible for guiding students through every stage of podcast creationfrom brainstorming ideas to recording editing and promoting their shows. This role offers the opportunity to mentor aspiring podcasters helping them launch and grow their projects successfully.

These roles are parttime and hourly and can be done remotely working with students based around the world.

This role will include

• Working closely with a variety of students based across the world including the US Asia Australia and Europe.
• Maintaining reasonable levels of communication with students outside of formal sessions

What we are looking for:

• You have at least 4 hours of availability to tutor each week.
• Youre passionate about education and enjoy teaching ideally youve even got some experience tutoring students already!

Key Responsibilities

• Teaching and Mentorship: Deliver engaging sessions on the basics of podcasting including podcast concept development interview skills guest outreach editing promotion and monetization.
• Curriculum Delivery: Follow the established course outline while bringing your own insights and industry expertise to each topic.
• HandsOn Guidance: Assist students with handson activities including designing podcast artwork practicing interviews editing audio and developing promotion plans.
• Feedback and Support: Provide constructive feedback to students on their podcast ideas episodes and overall performance. Offer troubleshooting advice as needed.
• Networking Skills: Teach students how to find and contact potential podcast guests using various tools and strategies (LinkedIn Instagram email outreach etc.).
• Podcast Promotion: Guide students through the basics of social media marketing and podcast SEO.
• Optional Sessions: Be available to teach optional advanced sessions on podcast editing website development SEO social media marketing monetization and performance analysis.

Requirements

• Expertise in Podcasting: Indepth knowledge of podcast production including content development editing and promotion.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical aspects of podcasting and engage students in meaningful discussions.
• Interview and Networking Skills: Experience with interviewing and guest outreach for podcasts or mediarelated projects.
• Editing and Production: Familiarity with podcast editing software sound effects and audio optimization.
• Social Media Knowledge: Understanding of how to promote podcasts using various social media platforms (Instagram Twitter LinkedIn etc.).
• Troubleshooting Capabilities: Ability to help students with common challenges such as guest scheduling issues editing difficulties or low listener engagement.

Qualifications

• Podcasting Experience: Previous experience hosting or producing a podcast ideally with multiple episodes or seasons.
• Teaching or Mentorship Experience: Prior experience teaching mentoring or leading workshops especially in creative media or techrelated fields is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in podcast editing software and a strong understanding of audio production.
• Marketing Knowledge: Experience in podcast promotion through social media SEO and content marketing.
• Availability: Flexibility to teach 5 core sessions with the potential for additional sessions.

Desired Qualifications

• Industry Connections: Familiarity with networks or influencers in the podcasting space to help students learn realworld guest outreach strategies.
• Website and SEO Expertise: Experience building or managing podcast websites and implementing SEO strategies to grow an audience.
• Monetization Strategies: Knowledge of podcast monetization through sponsorships listener support or merchandise.
