About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Design Technology & Resistant Materials lessons across all year groups (KS3 KS4) adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and safe learning environment that fosters a love of exploration creativity and practical skills.
- Guide students in developing a comprehensive understanding of design principles materials and techniques.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel as applicable).
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Design Technology & Resistant Materials department and contribute to schoolwide events.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design Technology & Resistant Materials or a closely related subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for design technology and resistant materials with a captivating teaching style.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
